While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. Therapy can help you to unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Valerie specializes in a unique intervention called Walk and Talk Therapy, which combines traditional talk therapy with the physical exercise of walking.

 

With Walk and Talk Therapy, the client receives the benefit from mental health therapy, while at the same time receiving the benefits of physical exercise—a powerful two-in-one treatment. The simple act of walking while talking out life’s issues creates an environment of possibility and change.

You may choose Walk and Talk Therapy to address issues such as:

·         Mild or moderate depression

·         Anxiety

·         Career/workplace or school issues

·         Relationship problems

·         Family issues

·         Overcoming childhood issues

 

Walk and Talk Therapy sessions are conducted outdoors while walking at parks in the New Braunfels area. Click on the “Walk and Talk Therapy” tab to find out if this form or therapy is right for you.
